Athi & Seelan was established in 2005, this dynamic law firm offering a full range of legal services to both corporate and individual clients in West Malaysia. Our firm offers experienced and highly regarded lawyers, with significant skill and expertise in a wide spectrum of litigation areas including all areas of civil litigation, all aspects of insurance defense work, corporate & commercial litigation, alternative dispute resolution and we have lawyers who are accredited with the Malaysian Bar council to provide mediation services.
Our partners, who have more than three decades of experience, possess the skills, knowledge and the commercial awareness to provide high-standard legal services specifically tailored to meet our clients’ legal requirements. Realising that our clients’ needs may not necessarily be limited to one area of law alone, we do not limit our scope and we are ever ready to undertake any matter in all other areas of the law practise. Indeed, acknowledging that our clients’ needs and/or concerns may extend beyond the law, we even endeavour to procure other ancillary services for our clients whenever possible.
Our law firm is currently covered by professional indemnity insurance of RM 5,100,000.00. No claims have been made against our law firm, of our partners or against our insurance policy. Notwithstanding, we regularly review our practice standards and risk management policies so that we and our clients are adequately covered at all times, and that we never have to utilize our coverage. In doing so, we are also able to meet the recommended requirements of our business partners and clients. Due to the nature and the quantum involved in our work, we see ourselves regularly increasing our professional indemnity.
